GM Ignition Switch Recall

Newly discovered email suggests that General Motors knew about a deadly defect 2 months before it notified the federal government.

The emails show that GM was ordering replacement switches long before the public knew of the danger. GM said it would need 500,000 parts to support an urgent field action.
