MARCH 15, 2014, - General Motors is facing a class action lawsuit which demands that it notify people not to drive their defective vehicles. It happens as the death and injury numbers connected to the recall are expected to grow.
Bob Hilliard (Hilliard Munoz Gonzales) filed a class-action suit ”the first in the nation ” against General Motors on behalf of victims, families and survivors of those injured or killed in crashes caused by a faulty ignition switch in eight GM models. Mr. Hilliard is featured on CBS Morning News and talks about GM's 1.6 million vehicle recall, "You have all of America buying this car, probably using it mostly, like one of my clients, to teach their teenage children how to drive - thinking it's made by GM, it's going to be safe, and all the while GM in their own filing cabinet had information to show that this defect is a life changing event if it occurs to you in the wrong circumstance."
